HOUSTON – One of the city’s most anticipated culinary events is back: Houston Restaurant Weeks.

From August 1 through September 2 foodies can dive into special lunch, brunch and dinner menus fixed from $20 to $45.

The lunch and brunch meals are three to four courses and start at $20 and go up to $35.  Three to $5 of each meal are donated to the Houston Food Bank.  A three to four course dinner is $35, with $5 going to the Houston Food Bank. There’s also a $45 three to four course dinner option, which provides a $7 donation to the Houston Food Bank.

The event was created in 2003 by Cleverley Stone, host of The Cleverley Show” on CBS Sports Radio 650/KIKK-AM Houston.

Since then, it has raised more than $2.9 million for the Houston Food Bank.

More than 170 Houston-area restaurants are participating.  Click here to see the list and all the menus available.
