Water main break

HOUSTON -- A family in northwest Houston is so glad a huge water filled hole in their front yard has now been fixed.

The Bush family said they had been complaining about the hole since October. A water line kept breaking and made their front yard a mess.

The family said the pipes had been broken five times in the past three months. The line was finally repaired Wednesday afternoon.

“It’s just frustrating with trying to cross over the water and having the water be dirty and not being able to use it,” said Amanda Bush.

But even though the pipe has been fixed, they worry that, even with all this work, there may be more trouble around here.

A city spokesperson said he's not sure if and when the neighborhood will get new pipes.
