Heavy rain is expected overnight and throughout Wednesday, according to KHOU 11 Chief Meteorologist David Paul.

Starting early Wednesday morning, likely impacting your morning commute, there's a 100 percent rain chance. Some areas could get 4" of rain by Thursday which has a 70 percent chance for rain.

Temperatures will remain warm this week in the 70s with overnight lows in the 60s.

We will get a glimpse of the sun again with partly cloudy skies starting Friday. A chance for scattered showers continues through the weekend but with cooler temperatures moving in by Sunday.
