If you're heading out of Bush Intercontinental Airport this upcoming holiday season, there's some not-so-good news.

A new study shows among the 30 busiest airports in the country, IAH ranks 10th worst.

The study from The Points Guy ranks Bush Airport near the bottom in terms of how long long it takes to use public transportation to get to the airport as well as drive time.

"Car Driving Time from the City Center" came in at 21st. "Public Transportation Time from City Center" came in at 23rd.

One is the best in the study; 30 is the worst.

The site gives Bush Airport a score of 16 for average security wait time. Transportation Security Administration Numbers show through October of this year, the average time is 18 minutes, which is up more than a minute from last year.

The airport, though, says it's among the fastest.

"This is my second time here, and I think it's a pretty decent airport," said Eric Echols, who's from Atlanta.

Bush gets a 20 for flight delays and a 19 for flight cancelations. But Bureau of Transportation Statistics show the airport has improved dramatically over the years. They're now at nearly an 82 percent on-time departure rate, which puts them ninth-best in the country.

Some of the parking signs were confusing, even though Bush gets the best mark for the most affordable parking.

Restaurants came in at 11th; lounges fourth.

Houston Airports' WiFi service is free and ranked among the fastest in the country.

Houston is one of the only cities in the U.S. with two airports within city limits offering international service. As a result, passengers have options to help make getting to the airport readily accessible, and both airports offer a large number of domestic and international non-stop destinations from which to choose.
