Greg Mancz is officially back with the Houston Texans. The reserve interior offensive lineman signed his one-year tender with the team as a restricted free agent.

Mancz will collect $1.9 million for 2017 per the Texans tender offer. He was free to try and get a better deal from other teams, but Houston held the right to either match the deal or receive compensation.

The Texans starting center for all of 2016, Mancz played in 10 games last season as the primary backup at both guard and center, with seven starts. He’s entering his fourth NFL season as an undrafted free agent from Toledo. Mancz will be an unrestricted free agent following the ’18 campaign.
