Club Nomadic has added Sam Hunt and The Chainsmokers to the list of stars who will perform concerts Super Bowl week.
Hunt will take the stage Thursday night at the traveling nightclub near downtown. The Georgia native has taken the country world by storm since his debut album, Montevallo, broke several chart records with five hit singles. Hunt has already won an American Music Award and a CMT Music Award and was nominated for two Grammys in 2016.

The Chainsmokers, a DJ duo, are also relative newcomers whose song "Selfie" put them on the charts -- and on the radar -- in 2014. Their latest hit, "Closer", was their first number one single on the Billboard Hot 100.
Tickets for The Chainsmokers and Sam Hunt will go on sale Saturday for about $100.

Local construction crews are building the 62,500-square foot, three-tiered nightclub on Edwards Street in Houston’s Art District. Club Nomadic will be built and have the ability to torn down and relocated to host other venues in the United States.
"Our goal is to have an amazing venue," said Club Nomadic operator Jack Muphy, who built the multi-tiered club to accodate some 9,000 fans.
Murphy has been producing Super Bowl events since Super Bowl XXXIX in Jacksonville, Florida.
“It’s built in a way that I can get past the building codes, I can work with the city on noise ordinances, make sure our TPA and our fire and police and capacities are met because I have a certain amount of people to entertain throughout the weekend,” said Murphy.
After Super Bowl Sunday, Club Nomadic will close and crews will start to take a part the steel structure.
"We will pack this thing up and move it to another city," said Murphy."
