HOUSTON – Lovers of Luke, Leia, Darth, and the gang filled theaters across the country Thursday as Disney unveiled Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

The force is strong with the latest episode, judging by the reviews of the film’s Hollywood premier.

At Edward’s Houston Marq’E Stadium 23 IMAX & RPX an estimated 800 people packed the cinema’s two earliest IMAX showings.

In line with a later ticket, we spoke with Emily Brown who was quite the expert on fictional intergalactic battles.

“I think we’ll learn a lot of new information.” Brown said.

Brown was dressed identical to one of the series’ newest characters Rey.

She told KHOU 11 News in an effort to not spoil any of the surprises in Episode 8, she didn’t watch the trailer or read any of the film’s early reviews.

Star Wars' next episode comes to theaters in December of next year. It's titled, Solo: A Star Wars Story and will be a film all about Hans Solo and Chewbacca's adventures before joining the Rebellion.
