Have you seen reports about scientists developing “exercise in a pill?” It sounds like a couch potato’s dream, but is it true?

Our Verify team took a closer look at the research and found a study done by the Salk Institute, a respected institute in California.

Salk Institute scientists did not discover a pill that will make you thin, but they developed a chemical compound to improve endurance, allowing people who are out of shape to exercise longer than they normally would.

However, so far, the compound has only been tested on mice. Researchers say drug companies are interested in human trials, but so far, no one has tried it.

So, we can verify we’re a long way from just taking a pill to get in shape.
