Verify: Is a 'March For Our Lives' rally happening this weekend for Santa Fe victims?

Have you seen posts about a "March For Our Lives" rally for Santa Fe this weekend? It all seems to have started with an event post on Facebook. The page seems to have been taken down since Tuesday morning.

But here's the thing: it listed guests and included a woman Emily Korcenski, who was at the Charlottesville rally and two parkland students.

Well, neither students, Cameron Kasky or David Hogg have personally commented about it. And the official twitter account for "March For Our Lives Houston" called the event "fake news."

Emily posted on the event page saying she has nothing to do with the organization and is *not the organizer."

So there may very well be a rally -- but it is *not* organized by "March For Our Lives" -- so we're calling this false.

A tweet from an alt-right activist questions the timing of the active-shooter drill that students and doctors at UTMB mentioned happening a few weeks before the shooting in Santa Fe.

According to Registered Nurse David Marshall, UTMB has drills quarterly to be ready for events like these and to keep its Level 1 Trauma Center status intact.

So we can verify that the drills are routine and the timing really isn't a coincidence since they happen about every three months.

Finally, questions about whether there was a slow response after the first emergency calls went out friday morning. We learned yesterday, these claims are false.

First responders say officers engaged the suspect within four minutes of them figuring out what was happening at the school.
