HOUSTON -- A big rig driver apparently climbed to safety after his or her cab ended up dangling off the Grand Parkway early Tuesday.
The crash happened at about 6:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes at Highway 290. According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the driver reportedly fell asleep at the wheel.
Views from Air 11 show the truck's cab hanging off the overpass from the median. A wrecker and fire truck were on the scene.
Houston TranStar reports the scene was cleared shortly before 9 a.m. No major injuries were reported.
