HOUSTON — Police found a threat against the Houston Academy for International Studies to not be credible, HISD said Sunday night.
Earlier in the day, the Houston Independent School District said it was taking precaution after the threat had been posted to social media.
A statement by the district later said the rumor of a threat was investigated by HISD police and found to be non-credible.
"We plan for our students’ instructional day to continue safely and productively tomorrow," the district statement read in part. "Safety is, and always will be, one of our top priorities."
