Officials say a young man from New Braunfels drowned at North Padre Island on Friday.
Police say 20-year-old Arlen McFall died after he jumped off of Bob Hall Pier and got caught in a rip current.
He is the second of two suspected drownings that occurred within 20 minutes of each other Friday. Police say the other victim was 14-year-old Marley McElroy from Amarillo.
