HOUSTON — A dog is back with its owners after he was stolen during a burglary more than three weeks ago.
Police say Max was taken during a burglary on Dec. 30, 2018 at 500 Shawnee in north Houston.
Police identified a suspect who they say initially denied taking Max. The suspect later told investigators he gave the dog away and provided an address of where Max was. The dog was found at 600 College Avenue.
Fernando Godoy, 33, has been arrested and charged with burglary of a habitation. He is being held in jail without bond.
