MISSOURI CITY, Texas - Missouri City recognized rapper Travis Scott Saturday for his accomplishments, declaring Feb. 10, 2018, "Travis Scott Day" in the city.

The 25-year-old Elkins High School alumnus was awarded the key to the city Saturday as part of Missouri City’s Black History Celebration of Culture & Music.

Houston Rockets star James Harden was also there to celebrate Scott, who treated fans to an impromptu concert after the ceremony.

Last week, Scott became a father when Kylie Jenner gave birth to their daughter, Stormi.
