HOUSTON -- Amazon is hiring more than 400 full-time positions at its new fulfillment center located between Brookshire and Katy, the company announced Friday.
It was revealed in early 2017 a one million-square-foot distribution center would go up near the intersection of Highway 90 and Woods Road, just off I-10 West. The center will eventually provide 1,000 new jobs in the area, the company said.
Interested candidates can apply online now. The company will then reach out to candidates by email and invite them to a group hiring event if they meet the basic requirements. The jobs will be located at 31819 Hwy Boulevard, Brookshire, TX 77423.
Average pay starts at $12/hour, and there will be on-the-spot job offers, according to the company.

“New associates will join the more than 125,000 regular, full-time associates at Amazon’s more than 75 fulfillment centers across North America to help pick, pack and ship customers’ orders,” the company stated in a press release.
