The home owner’s association for Houston’s Broadacres neighborhood posted signs along city streets boldly banning “photo shoots”.
Neighbors have complained about the mess left behind by professional photo sessions. In the esplanade along South Bouvard, glittering confetti left behind litters the grass.
Despite the new signs, the City of Houston insist the neighborhood’s sidewalks are public places, and the home owner’s association can’t ban photographers who aren’t breaking the law.
Not everyone in the neighborhood aggress with the signs. One neighbor said forcing out photographers would simply be ridiculous.
