It was an all-star surprise Tuesday at a Houston-area elementary school.
Astros' all-star Jose Altuve helped hand out toys to unsuspecting children at Brookline Elementary.
Each student received a toy and book, courtesy of Altuve and Nan & Company Properties.
“We are so excited to be able to do this for the entire school,” said Nancy Almodovar, President of Nan & Company Properties in a statement. “A heart felt thank you goes out to everyone who helped make this day happen.”
Ninety-eight percent of the students are economically disadvantaged and 85% are considered high risk, according to Nan & Company.
