A little sun goes a long way. I'm happier, you're happier, and things are coming back to life after a very long and cold winter. In fact our high temp the past two days in a row has broken the 80f degree mark.
That has woken up this dead looking stick in coming out of the ground in my backyard.
Upon closer inspection, something is about to bud out into leaves or flowers or something. My neighbor swears this is a young pecan tree. We shall see.
Something else more sinister has also awoken. This fire ant mound appeared overnight. A little research taught me that two warm days in a row can be all it takes to wake them up. The warmer it gets, the faster they move as they are cold blooded.
