TOMBALL, Texas -- Concerned parents reached out to KHOU 11 News early Thursday after students at Tomball High School heard rumors of a possible shooting threat.

A Tomball ISD spokeswoman says administrators worked with Tomball Police to track down a student who allegedly made verbal threats.

The student was arrested on campus Thursday morning.

“Additional security measures have been implemented on campus to ensure the safety of students and staff, stated Dr. Staci Stanfield.
