HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Two people have been arrested in a fatal hit-and-run that left a 68-year-old female bicyclist dead in the Spring area Friday morning.
According to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, the collision happened in the 4100 block of Spring Creek in Pundt Park.
Deputies said the victim was with a group of bicyclists at an intersection when the suspects drove through in their vehicle and struck the woman.
The suspects fled the scene in their vehicle but crashed about 100 yards away from the intersection, deputies said.
