Investigators say a man allegedly choked his fiancée's sister in a southwest Houston hotel Friday night.

HOUSTON – Investigators say a man allegedly choked his fiancée’s sister in a southwest Houston hotel Friday night.

According to the Houston Police Department, Jason Terrell Farmer, 34, is charged with manslaughter in the death of Angela Montante, 23.

Police said at 8 p.m. Friday, they received a call from the victim’s sister saying that her fiancé wanted to confess to something but she did not know what it was.

Police said when they met up with the victim’s sister and the suspect, Farmer, he confessed to killing the victim at an American Inn and Suites in the 8200 block of Southwest Freeway.

Officers went to the hotel and found the victim’s body inside of a room. They said she had been choked to death.

Farmer has been convicted of aggravated sexual assault stemming from a case back in 2008, court documents state.
