HOUSTON- A man is in serious condition after being shot at several times in the parking lot of a nightclub in north Houston early Sunday morning.

According to the Houston Police Department, the shooting occurred around 2:00 a.m. on FM 1960 and Walters Road. HPD said the shooting started after some sort of argument/disturbance happened in the parking lot of the Encore Night Club.

The male suspect pulled out a gun and started shooting at the victim. Police said he was shot an unknown number of times and transported to the hospital.

HPD said there was a woman with him at the time, but she was not hit or hurt. Harris County Deputies recovered around 10 shell casings in the parking lot, and the victims car had bullet holes in it.

The victim is in serious but stable condition.
