HOUSTON- A man is in critical condition after being shot an unknown number of times on Saturday night in East Houston.
According to the Houston Police Department, they responded to a call around 9:00 p.m. at East Houston Road and Ley Road. Police found a man in his early 20s suffering from gun wounds on the third floor of an apartment building.
He was transported to Ben Taub and is in critical condition. As of 3:00 a.m., the victim was still alive in surgery, but Homicide Detectives mentioned "it didn't look good" for survival.
Detectives said the suspect shot the victim after an an argument. The suspect fled the scene.
