HOUSTON - A jury has found a Katy man guilty in the 2015 murder of a 20-year-old man.

Andrew Kizer, 25, was found guilty of capital murder Thursday.

The victim was Christian Burke. He was shot and killed during an apartment invasion. According to investigators, Kizer and another man wore masks when they stormed the apartment and shot Burke.

What was unusual about the case was that both the suspect and victim were from well-to-do suburban families.

Kizer was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
