HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Deputies asking for the public’s help in identifying a man and a woman they say are allegedly responsible for assaulting a retail store employee.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Division, it happened 3 p.m. on Jan. 20 at a retail store located in the 7100 block of Barker Cypress Road.

Investigators said an unknown white male suspect and white female suspect with a child entered the retail store. During the incident, the store’s loss prevention officer caught the suspects shoplifting.

Deputies said when the suspects were stopped by the loss prevention officer, the male suspect pointed a handgun at the prevention officer. The suspects fled in a blue Chevrolet pickup truck, bearing Texas paper tag 05N0958, in an unknown direction of travel.

Suspect No. 1: White male, mid-30’s, medium to heavy build, short reddish hair with a goatee, and wearing a baseball cap.

Suspect No. 2: White female, mid-30’s, long red hair wearing eye glasses. Suspect was smoking a cigarette.
