Police are on the lookout for a man who robbed at least one Kingwood business.

HPD says the man went into the Kroger at 3410 Northpark Drive around 1 p.m. Jan. 7, showed a gun to the clerk in the customer service booth and demanded money. When the clerk said she would have to call her manager, the man fled without any money.

Police say about 40 minutes later, the same man went into the Walgreens at 1210 Kingwood Drive and demanded money from a clerk at the cash register. The man showed the clerk a gun, and put a black bag on the counter, according to police.

The suspect then walked out of the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10, wearing sunglasses, a black hooded sweatshirt and pants.
