HOUSTON – An altercation between two men led to a shooting outside of a U.S. Post Office in southeast Houston Wednesday evening.
According to the Houston Police Department, it happened at 8 p.m. in front of the U.S. Post Office in the 4000 block of Broadway Street near Moline Street.
Investigators said two men pulled up to the front of the Post Office, and an apparent argument ensued about parking in a handicapped spot.
The argument got out of hand and one of the men pulled a gun and shot the other, possibly in the chest area, police said. He was transported to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
Police said the suspect stayed at the scene and was taken into custody. Unknown what charges he is facing at this time.
