A man is in custody after he allegedly confessed to killing his fiancée’s sister in a hotel Friday night, police say.
The Houston Police Department said at 8 p.m., they received a call from the victim’s sister saying that her fiancé wanted to confess to something but she did not know what it was.
Police said when they met up with the victim’s sister and the suspect, he confessed to killing the victim at an American Inn and Suites in the 8200 block of Southwest Freeway.
Officers went to the hotel and found the victim’s body inside of a room.
The suspect is in custody and is cooperating with police.
Police have not released the caused of death and a motive is not known at this time.
No names have been released.
