HOUSTON – Two males were wounded in two shootings that investigators believe are related in southwest Houston early Monday.

According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded just before 3 a.m. to a call of a shooting on West Fuqua at Alrover.

When HPD arrived they found a Mustang crashed into a light pole and a 14-year old male shot in the buttocks and arm, police said.

Police said a short time later another shooting call came in on Dalmation and Littleford where another male was found shot in the leg.

Both were transported to a local hospital and are expected to survive, police said.

Police said they believe the shootings are related, but are getting conflicting statements from witnesses.

HPD stopped a suspicious Honda with three males inside who were found to be armed, but unknown yet if they are the suspects in the shooting.
