HOUSTON – Police say 11 suspects arrested in connection with a break-in at a Sam’s Club could be responsible a string of burglaries in the Houston area.

According to the Houston Police Department, it started with a burglary at the Sam’s Club located on the South Loop and Kirby Wednesday night.

Investigators said the suspects broke into the business and stole money from the ATM inside. However, officers with HPD’s Criminal Apprehension Team were in the area and began to follow the 11 male suspects, who were in seven vehicles.

The officers stopped and arrested all of the suspects in the area Richey and the Gulf Freeway.

HPD said this is an ongoing investigation and the suspects may have been involved in several other burglaries.
