Police are on the lookout for a man who used his backpack to break into a home in Houston's West End.
The Houston Police Department said the break-in happened around 9:20 a.m. in the 4600 block of Floyd Street on March 23.
Police say the man entered the backyard of the home and walked around for a bit. He then approached a window and started to break the glass. The burglar was wearing a backpack and used it to knock out all of the glass so he could slip inside the home.
The man took off with $56,000 worth of jewelry, watches and a semi-automatic handgun, according to police.
