HOUSTON - A former United Airlines pilot accused of running brothels in Houston has pleaded guilty.

Bruce Wayne Wallis, 52, pleaded guilty in court on Thursday and was sentenced to five years probation and 150 hours of community service.

Wallis is accused of running at least six houses of prostitution, using online advertisements to promote his illicit businesses and charging at least 20 women $400 a week to sell sex through his operation.

He was arrested in March of 2016 on charges of Aggravated Promotion of Prostitution and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.
