HOUSTON -- Houston police responded to the Randalls grocery store in Neartown overnight after a group of thieves made off with a shopping cart loaded with goods.

It happened just after midnight Tuesday on Westheimer at S. Shepherd.

Workers told police that two men came into the store and loaded a cart with high-priced items. They then bolted for the door and a pickup truck waiting outside. They threw the loaded cart into the back of a pickup.

They got inside, and the getaway driver sped away.

No arrests were made.
