HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man accused of impersonating a police officer in order to rob a Walgreens pharmacy.

Travis Lee Wilson, 32, is charged with aggravated robbery, according to HCSO.

Video showed Wilson dressed as a police officer at the Walgreens at 2103 F.M. 2920, according to investigators. Fentanyl patches were allegedly one of the items the suspect demanded during the robbery.

Houston Police assisted in the investigation and located the suspect’s Ford SUV in Alvin. Texas Rangers and Texas DPS joined in and helped the sheriff’s office make an arrest.

Investigators say the suspect was picked out of a lineup by witnesses.

Investigators obtained consent to search the suspect’s vehicle, and they say they found a toy gun, black shirt with “POLICE” on it and a fake plastic badge were recovered. Inside the suspect’s apartment, several patches of Fentanyl were also found.
