Caught on camera: Suspects rob west Houston Shipley's at gunpoint

Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects accused of robbing a west Houston Shipley’s last December.

Houston police released video Tuesday of the alleged aggravated robbery that occurred just after 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 17, 2017.

Police say five men drove up to the drive-thru window at the Shipley’s located in the 12400 block of Westheimer. They say four men left the car and entered the window while one of the men pointed a handgun at the employees and forced them to the ground.

Police say one of the suspects took money from the registers. The men then left in a silver four-door car.

Authorities believe the men are involved in six robberies, including two in Harris County. They believe the men were involved in the following robberies in Houston:

  • 8:43 p.m. Dec. 17, 2017, carjacking at 525 Seminar
  • 11:35 p.m. Dec. 17, 2017, at Shipley’s Donuts, 12405 Westheimer
  • 4:45 a.m. Dec. 18, 2017, at Shipley’s Donuts, 6602 North Shepherd
  • 9:47 a.m. Dec. 18, 2017, at a FedEx on West Parker

Police say the suspect seen on surveillance video in a gray hoodie with a handgun and the driver of the car -- both identified as Taurus Williams, 21, and as Davonta Patton, 17 -- have been arrested and charged in this case.
