HOUSTON – Police searched early Monday for a prisoner who walked out of a northeast Houston hospital where he was being treated.
According to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, it happened at 2:40 a.m. at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital, located at 5656 Kelley Street.
Deputies said the prisoner had been arrested on warrants in connection with a carjacking. He was then taken to teh hospital for treatment.
The suspect managed to bolt out of the hospital but was recaptured nearby about three hours later.
