BRENHAM, Texas-Three people have been arrested and charged with murder in the death of a resident at a state-operated living center in Brenham.

According to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, a female resident was found in the back of a van at the Brenham State Supported Living Center (BSSLC) On July 11, 2017. She was later pronounced dead.

The Washington County Justice of the Peace identified the woman as Amy Parrish.

The assistant district attorney says Charlotte Washington, 58, of Caldwell, Sylvia Pratt, 51, of Navasota and Lacreshia Miles, 34, of Brenham have been charged with felony murder.

Their indictments claim they intentionally left Parrish who was disabled in the vehicle in "excessive heat conditions" which caused her death.

They each have a bond set at $75,000.
