HOUSTON – Houston police and homicide investigators were on the scene of a reported shooting on the southwest side overnight.

Early Friday police responded to Fondren at Westpark where a car was stopped in the roadway. Bullet holes could be seen in the car’s glass and passenger door.

According to HPD, officers and paramedics found one male dead at the scene, reportedly in a nearby parking lot. Officers were told a second male was transported by a private vehicle to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

At this time, there is no known motive or suspects in the shooting.
