HOUSTON - Three non-profits in Texas have been named finalists for a $100,000 donation from Reliant, but they need your vote. Two of them are based in Houston.

The non-profit with the most votes will get $100,000 from Reliant Gives. The other two will receive $20,000 or $10,000, based on votes.

The public has an unlimited number of votes by clicking here until midnight December 3, 2017.

The three finalists are:

Kids' Meals - delivers free, healthy meals year-round to the doorsteps of Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children. The organization provides approximately 2,700 daily meals to children under age five, who are impacted by hunger. In 2017, the organization delivered more than 66,000 meals directly to the homes of hungry, poverty-stricken children. An award of $100,000 would go a long way toward feeding the more than 88,000 hungry preschoolers in Houston.

Casa de Esperanza - the House of Hope for Children, is a safe place for children in crisis due to abuse, neglect or the effects of HIV. Casa de Esperanza provides residential care, and coordinates medical and psychological services according to the needs of each child.

Operation Kindness - is the original and largest no-kill shelter in North Texas. It serves as the “go-to” facility for Texas municipal and rescue partners who run out of space or have animals in need of medical services.
