Tuesday morning will start warm and wet, but by late morning winds will shift to the north as a cold front arrives. Temps will fall into the 60's and 50's by late afternoon.
Take a jacket with you when you leave the house Tuesday morning. You'll need it, and an umbrella as the day transitions into afternoon and temps begin to fall. A north wind will gust to 20 mph as well.
This is the first of three wet, chilly days that will see temps holding in the 40's for much of Wednesday and Thursday. A real taste of winter by Houston standards. It's a good time to donate that old coat to a local shelter.
