Step right up! Get your ticket to ride! The 'Weather Roller Coaster' is here! Houston in February can range from Hot and humid to breezy and cold. In fact back in 1895, 20" of snow fell on Valentines Day, our all time record for the white stuff. It's a month where summer is creeping in, while winter tries to hold on.
We begin this week on the cold side of a warm front (red line). Expect highs to be only in the 50's on Fat Tuesday.
By Wednesday, it's summers turn to make a run at us. The warm front races north, allowing our temps to rise into the 70's. We stay warm through Friday when highs will reach the 80 degree mark! Only to turn cold and rainy again the following Saturday. Hang on tight!
