HOUSTON - A 14-year-old girl who handed out thousands of pairs of socks to people in need in the aftermath of Harvey has taken her campaign nationally and aims to take it globally.
Princess Jackson began a nonprofit called Sock Out Poverty when she was just nine years old.
Since then, she has given away about 10,000 pairs of socks. Her brand new socks come in from ordinary citizens as well as big corporations like Walmart. She has also caught the attention of a few celebrities who support her efforts.
Recently, Princess traveled to Los Angeles to help victims of wild fires and mud slides.
