Cro Cro y su Tumbaka celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with Salsa

Jorge "Cro Cro" Orta brought his band Tumbaka perform a new song on Great Day Houston to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

HOUSTON- Salsa band Cro Cro y su Tumbaka visited Great Day Houston to help celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. The band leader Jorge “Cro Cro” Orta spoke with host Deborah Duncan about the bands back ground and heritage, and the musical influences that shaped the band. Jorge talked about the city of Houston recognizing him for his cultural contributions by declaring September 19, 2014 as Cro Cro day. The band also performed a new song , “Pal Bailador”. Cro Cro y su Tumbaka will be performing at Salsa y Salud on September 22 at 8pm at the Miller Outdoor Theater.
