The Good Wife is heading to Dietland.

Julianna Margulies, who led CBS legal drama The Good Wife (2009-16), has joined the cast of the AMC series based on Sarai Walker's 2015 novel of the same name.

Margulies, who won two Emmys for her portrayal of lawyer and betrayed politician's wife Alicia Florrick in Good Wife and another one for her performance as nurse Carol Hathaway in ER, will play Kitty Montgomery in Dietland, which is being produced by Marti Noxon (Mad Men, UnReal, Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce).

The 10-episode series, due in 2018, also stars Joy Nash (The Mindy Project, Twin Peaks) as the lead character, Plum Kettle.

An ambitious magazine editor, Margulies' Kitty finds herself adjusting the way she plays the media power game when people in her circle are targeted by a feminist terror organization.

“Julianna is diabolically talented and beautiful, which makes her perfect to play our Kitty. I am genuinely honored to have the opportunity to work with her. She’s a special human and a rare actor,” Noxon said in a statement. “I can’t wait to start and for the world to get a load of this show.”
