LOS ANGELES — Justin Bieber hit a paparazzo while driving a pickup truck Wednesday night, the Beverly Hills Police Department confirmed.
Authorities responded to a radio call just before 9:30 p.m. local time about a car accident involving the pop star and a 57-year-old pedestrian, Beverly Hills Police Sgt. Matthew Stout told USA TODAY. The photographer was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Stout said.
According to police, Bieber "fully cooperated" and was released without receiving a citation.

Earlier this week, Bieber canceled the remaining 15 shows of his Purpose World Tour due to "unforeseen circumstances," according to a statement from his representative Lauren Morris. He was scheduled to start a seven-city stadium leg in North America on Saturday in Arlington, Texas, before a string of dates in Asia in September and October.
"Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them," the statement read. "However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates."
