HEB Cooking Connection

Ancho Relish Cranberry Sauce

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Makes 3 to cups

1 bags fresh cranberries

1 1/2 cp sugar

1 cup Sweet Ancho Chili Relish

2 cups cranberry juice or nectar

Place cranberries, sugar, and juice, in a saucepan. Stir to combine. Bring to a boil over Medium-High heat, stirring frequently.

Reduce heat to Medium; stir and cook until cranberries pop. Stir in Ancho Relish and heat 5 min on low.

Cranberry Sauce may be made up to 3 days in advance.

Broccoli Rice Cheese Casserole

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Baking Time: 25 minutes

Serves 6 to 8

1 container (32 ounce) refrigerated Canyon Foods Broccoli Cheese Soup

3 cps cooked white rice

2 cps chopped fine frozen broccoli; defrosted and patted dry

8 oz sour cream

2 cps HEB fancy shred cheese

1 can (6 ounce) French-fried onion rings

Heat oven to 350F. Coat a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.

Combine soup, sour cream. half of cheese, rice, and broccoli, in a large mixing bowl. Transfer mixture to baking dish.

Bake 20 minutes, uncovered; remove from oven and top with remaining cheese and onions. Return to oven; bake 5 to 10 minutes longer or until hot and bubbly.

Green Bean Mushroom Casserole

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Baking Time: 25 minutes

Serves 6 to 8

1 container (32 ounce) refrigerated Canyon Foods Mushroom & Leek Soup

2 cans French-cut green beans, drained well

8 oz sour cream

2 cps HEB fancy shred cheese

1 can (6 ounce) French-fried onion rings

Heat oven to 350F. Coat a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.

Drain green beans. Spread out on a clean towel and pat dry to remove as much moisture as possible.

Combine soup, sour cream. Half of cheese, and green beans, in a large mixing bowl. Transfer mixture to baking dish.

Bake 20 minutes, uncovered; remove from oven and top with remaining cheese and onions. Return to oven; bake 5 to 10 minutes longer or until hot and bubbly.

Sweet Potato Apricot Casserole w/ Candied Toffee Pecans

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 25 minutes

Serves 6-8

2 lg cans sweet potatoes

Jar Dean Fearings Star Chef Apricot Sauce

cp brown sugar

2 tsp Adams Korintje cinnamon

2 cps candied toffee pecans; smashed

2 cps mini marshmallows

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9 x 13 baking dish with non-stick spray.

Drain sweet potatoes and place in bottom of pan, smash slightly.

Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Top with Apricot Sauce, sugar, then nuts.

Bake for 20 min then add marshmallows and bake until golden brown.
